Downloading pictures from your camera with the cable is generally slow and uses your camera battery, by using a card reader designed for the job, pictures download quicker, and you can use your camera for taking pictures. I use this little card reader all the time, and with the benefit of three USB ports built in, it increased the number of items I can plug into my laptop. (which only has 2 USB ports of its own). |
